TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team will continue conference play, hosting Bluffton on Saturday, December 6, at 4 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands at 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the HCAC this season.
* The Fightin' Engineers come off a win in their home opener against Manchester with a final score of 95-72.
* The team's other wins have come against St. Scholastica, 64-53, and Illinois Tech, 73-72.

Joey Schmitz currently leads the team with 20.0 points per game, shooting 57.8% from the floor and 51.5% from beyond the arc.
* Schmitz also leads the team in steals with 11 and minutes, averaging 31.8 minutes per game.

Christian Torres is another standout, averaging 9.0 points per game and a team-high 7.4 rebounds per game.

Cole Pride has been a defensive standout with a team-high 13 blocked shots, while also averaging 5.2 rebounds per game.

Evan Gentile has also made an impact with 9.8 points per game, shooting 44% from beyond the arc.
* The Fightin' Engineers are currently shooting 48% as a team and 35% from beyond the arc.
* Rose-Hulman has been selected to finish second in the HCAC Preseason Poll, earning 72 points and three first-place votes.
* The team returns Second Team All-HCAC and HCAC Newcomer of the Year honoree

* Bluffton stands at 1-5 overall and 0-1 in the HCAC this season.
* The team comes off a loss to Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday with a final score of 83-68.
* The team is led by Novin Robson with 14.7 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game this season.
* He is followed by Andre Irvin with 14.3 points per game.
* Bluffton has been selected to finish eighth in the HCAC Preseason Poll, earning 27 points.
* The team is led by Seth Clark in his third season with the Beavers.
