WOOSTER, Ohio. – The Fightin' Engineers concluded the Wooster Invitational with a fourth-place finish, achieving 815.5 points.
Avery Witt put together a phenomenal performance, where she placed first in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:10.60. She recorded a second-place finish in the 100 Backstroke, and played a key role in multiple top five relay finishes.
Ritu Bharamaraddi achieved third-place in the 100 Backstroke with a time of 1:00.01 She also recorded a fourth place in the 100 Individual Medley with a time of 1:04.04.
Catherine Bath posted multiple fourth-place finishes in her solo events. She recorded a time of 1:58.26 in the 200 Freestyle and a time of 5:15.90 in the 500 Freestyle. Additionally, Bath joined Witt on multiple top five relay teams.
Hosts, Wooster placed first overall with a score of 1628.5. Mount Union added a second-place finish with a 1437 score, while Frostburg State placed third overall with a score of 1307.
Rose-Hulman will continue their season on Friday, January 9 as they face Valparaiso on the road at 6 PM.
