TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team will wrap up the 2024-25 regular season hosting Earlham College on Wednesday, February 19, at 7:30 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 15-9 overall and 12-5 in the HCAC.
* The team has locked in the #3 seed in the HCAC Tournament and will host their first game in the opening round.
* Rose-Hulman comes off an exciting win over Bluffton on Senior Day with a final score of 79-66.

Joey Schmitz leads the team with 13.7 points per game, 70 three-pointers made, and 42 steals in his breakout freshman campaign.
*
Miles McGowen has been another standout, averaging shy of a double-double with 12.5 points per game and 9.8 rebounds per game.
*
Kobe Stoudemire is also averaging double figures in scoring with 12.0 points per game and leads the team with 67 assists.
* Earlier this season, Rose-Hulman became just the fifth team in the last 21 years of the HCAC to start the conference season 7-0.
* Rose-Hulman shattered the school record for three-pointers made in a single game with 20 triples earlier this season in the win over Manchester.
* The previous record of 15 made three-pointers was set in 2018, and the team's total was just one shy of the all-time HCAC record of 21, set back in 2014 by Defiance College.

Miles McGowen reached a career milestone earlier this season as he became the 33rd player in school history to join the 1,000-point club.
* He is the first Fightin' Engineer to reach this milestone since Craig McGee and John Czarnecki in 2020.
* The Fightin' Engineers were picked to finish fourth in the HCAC preseason coaches poll, receiving 53 poll points.
* After hosting Earlham, Rose-Hulman will host the opening round of the HCAC Tournament against Berea on Saturday, February 22.
EARLHAM NOTES:
* Earlham College stands at 2-22 overall and 2-15 heading into Wednesday's match up.
* The Quakers have been eliminated from postseason play as they rank 10th in the HCAC standings.
* The team comes off a loss to Manchester with a final score of 93-84.
* Ken Walker is the team's leading scorer averaging 23.1 points per game this season.
* Walker also leads the team with 78 assists and 25 steals.
* Tavian Tatum leads the team on the boards with 7.8 rebounds per game.
* Earlham was selected to finish 10th in the HCAC preseason poll receiving 10 points.
* Wednesday's game will wrap up the 2024-25 season for the Quakers.
