TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team will hit the road to take on Anderson this Saturday, February 8, at 3 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 12-9 overall and 9-5 in the HCAC this season.
* The team ranks tied for fourth in the HCAC standings with Hanover.
* Rose-Hulman comes off a close loss to Hanover on Wednesday with a final score of 73-67.

Joey Schmitz leads the team with 12.8 points per game, 56 three-pointers made, and 39 steals in his breakout freshman campaign.
*
Miles McGowen has been another standout, averaging close to a double-double with 12.1 points per game and 9.8 rebounds per game.
*
Kobe Stoudemire and
Daniel Savovic are also averaging double figures this season with 11.3 and 10.4 points per game. Stoudemire is the team leader in assists with 56 as well.
* Earlier this season, Rose-Hulman became just the fifth team in the last 21 years of the HCAC to start the conference season 7-0.
* Rose-Hulman shattered the school record for three-pointers made in a single game with 20 triples earlier this season in the win over Manchester.
* The previous record of 15 made three-pointers was set in 2018, and the team's total was just one shy of the all-time HCAC record of 21, set back in 2014 by Defiance College.

Miles McGowen reached a career milestone earlier this season as he became the 33rd player in school history to join the 1,000-point club.
* He is the first Fightin' Engineer to reach this milestone since Craig McGee and John Czarnecki in 2020.
* The Fightin' Engineers were picked to finish fourth in the HCAC preseason coaches poll, receiving 53 poll points.
* After traveling to Anderson, Rose-Hulman will travel to take on Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday, February 12, at 7:30 PM.
ANDERSON NOTES:
* Anderson leads the HCAC and currently ranks #25 in the nation according to D3hoops.com with a record of 18-3 overall and 13-1 in the HCAC.
* The Raven's only losses this season came against #1 Trine 89-84, North Park 72-64, and Rose-Hulman 94-91.
* The team has not lost since facing Rose-Hulman and holds a 12-game winning streak heading into the weekend.
* Tate Ivanyo leads the team with 21.5 points per game and 44 steals this season.
* Other double-figure scorers include Bryce Williams (13.9), Kenney Troutman (12.7), Rob Davidson (11.2), and Nolan Swan (11.0).
* Anderson was selected to finish third in the HCAC preseason poll this season receiving 61 points and one first-place vote.
* After hosting Rose-Hulman, Anderson will continue conference play by traveling to take on Hanover on Wednesday, February 12, at 7:30 PM.
SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between both teams with a record of 44-33 overall against the Ravens.
* The team defeated Anderson earlier this season in a thrilling contest that came down to a buzzer-beater by
Simon Blair to give the Fightin' Engineers the win 94-91.
* Before that, Anderson had won five straight games against Rose-Hulman dating back to the 2022-23 season.
* The Fightin' Engineers have a record of 16-14 when traveling to take on the Ravens.
