TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team picked up a conference win over the Hanover Panthers with a final score of 5-2. This improves the team to 3-8 overall and 2-0 in the HCAC.
Hanover took the lead after winning two of the three doubles competitions. The No. 1 doubles team of
Addie Patterson and
Lia Taylor earned a win for Rose-Hulman with a final of 6-0.
Rose-Hulman bounced back, winning five of the six singles matches to defeat the Panthers.
Emerson Donaldson earned the win at No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-2. Taylor picked up a victory at No. 2 singles 6-2, 6-3, and Patterson claimed a victory at No. 4 singles 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-6) to round out the top three singles wins for Rose-Hulman.
The team will return to action, hosting Trine on Sunday, March 16 at 1 PM at the Terre Haute Tennis & Pickleball Center.
