ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team suffered a loss to Wartburg on Tuesday with a final score of 5-2. This drops the team to 2-7 overall this season and 1-2 on their Florida Trip.
The Fightin' Engineers took the lead after doubles competition. The No. 2 doubles team of
Emerson Donaldson and
Camille Clark earned a win with a score of 6-1. The No. 3 doubles team of
Nova Gladden and
Kaitlyn Pfund also picked up a victory 6-4.
Donaldson earned her second win of the day at No. 2 singles with a score of 6-4, 6-1. Wartburg claimed the rest of the singles matches to defeat Rose-Hulman 5-2.Â
The Fightin' Engineers will wrap up their Florida Trip taking on Saint Mary's (MN) on Thursday, March 6 at 7:30 AM.Â
