WHEATON, Ill. -- The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team suffered a road loss to Wheaton on Saturday with a final score of 5-2. This drops the team to 9-9 overall this season.
The Fightin' Engineers fell behind after being swept in the doubles competitions.
Tim Eckermann led the team with a win in No. 2 singles with a score of 6-7 (4-7), 6-2, 1-0 (10-7).
Chris Lian was the other winner at No. 6 singles with scores of 7-6 (7-5), 5-7, 1-0 (10-3).
The men's tennis team will return to action, traveling to play Franklin and IU-Southeast on Saturday, April 19, at 10 AM and 1 PM.
