Women's Tennis Hosts Manchester in HCAC Action on Thursday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team will return home to host Manchester in HCAC action on Thursday, April 3, at 5 PM. The match will be played indoors at the Terre Haute Tennis and Pickleball Center. 

ROSE-HULMAN WOMEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman enters the weekend with a record of 5-9 overall this season and 4-0 in the HCAC. 
* The team comes off a shutout win over Berea with a final score of 7-0.
* Lia Taylor earned her second consecutive HCAC Athlete of the Week Award for her performance against Berea. 
* Taylor picked up wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles to help keep the team unbeaten in HCAC play this season.
Emerson Donaldson leads the team in wins this season with a 9-7 overall record in singles play.
Nova Gladden has also been a standout in singles competition with a record of 8-7 on the season.
* Gladden is the team's top doubles player, totaling 10 wins on the season in doubles competition.
* Donaldson and Lia Taylor total nine doubles wins on the year. 
* The Fightin' Engineers were selected to finish second in the HCAC preseason poll, tied with Anderson with 39 points. 
* Rose-Hulman brought home a 2nd-place finish in the conference last season after falling to Transylvania in the HCAC Championship match. 
* After hosting Manchester, Rose-Hulman will host Principia on Saturday, April 5 at 11:30 AM. 

MANCHESTER NOTES:
* Manchester enters the mid-week match with a record of 0-8 overall and 0-3 in the HCAC. 
* The team comes off a loss to Anderson with a final score of 7-0.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, the team will continue HCAC play, traveling to take on Earlham on Saturday, April 5, at 1 PM. 

MANCHESTER SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between both teams with a record of 18-8 against the Spartans. 
* The Fightin' Engineers have won the last 17 matches between both teams dating back to the 2009 season. 
* Rose-Hulman has a record of 6-2 all-time when hosting Manchester.
