Men's Tennis Wraps Up Regular Season with Road Trip to Transylvania

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team will wrap up their regular season on the road against Transylvania on Saturday, April 26, at 11 AM. 

ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 10-9 overall and 6-0 in the HCAC this season. 
* The team comes off a win over Franklin on Tuesday with a final score of 7-0. 
Grant Paradowski leads the team with 13 singles wins this season. 
* Paradowski broke a career milestone, becoming just the sixth Fightin' Engineer to surpass 100 career total wins. Paradowski ranks sixth all-time with 104 career total wins. 
Ervin Perkowski is another standout in singles play this year with 12 wins.
Chris Lian is the team's top doubles player with 13 wins in doubles competition this season. 
* Rose-Hulman was picked as the favorite to repeat as HCAC Champions in the preseason coaches poll, receiving 48 points and six of the seven first-place votes.
* The Fightin' Engineers ended last season winning their eighth conference regular season and tournament title in program history. They advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the eighth time, where they fell 5-3 to Illinois Tech in the opening round.
* After traveling to face Transylvania, Rose-Hulman will look ahead to the HCAC Tournament from April 29 to May 4 in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

TRANSYLVANIA NOTES:
* Transylvania enters the weekend with a record of 7-7 overall and 6-0 in the HCAC so far this season. 
* The Pioneers were picked to finish second in the HCAC with 44 points and two first-place votes. 
* After facing Rose-Hulman, the team will look ahead to the HCAC Tournament from April 29 to May 4 in Indianapolis, Indiana. 

TRANSYLVANIA SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between both teams with a record of 17-15 overall against the Pioneers. 
* The Fightin' Engineers have won the last two matches between both teams. 
* The last time both teams played was for the HCAC Men's Tennis Championship with Rose-Hulman earning the title with a 5-4 victory. 
* Rose-Hulman has an all-time away record of 4-5 when traveling to face Transylvania.
