TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team takes on Earlham in the semifinal round of the HCAC Tournament on Saturday, May 3, at 3 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN WOMEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman finished the regular season with a record of 8-11 overall and 6-1 in the HCAC.
* The team earned the #2 seed in the HCAC Tournament, securing a first-round bye.

Emerson Donaldson leads the team with 12 singles wins this year.

Nova Gladden has also been a standout in singles competition with a record of 10-9 on the season.
* Gladden and Donaldson are the team's top doubles players, totaling 12 wins each on the season in doubles competition.
* The Fightin' Engineers were selected to finish second in the HCAC preseason poll, tied with Anderson with 39 points.
* Rose-Hulman brought home a 2nd-place finish in the conference last season after falling to Transylvania in the HCAC Championship match.
* With a win over Earlham, Rose-Hulman will advance to the HCAC Championship match against the winner of #1 Transylvania and #4 Anderson on Sunday, May 4, at 1:30 PM.
EARLHAM NOTES:
* The Quakers enter the weekend with a record of 10-8 overall.
* The team finished the regular season with a conference record of 5-2 to earn the #3 seed in the HCAC Tournament.
* Earlham comes off a win over Franklin in the opening round with a final score of 5-2.
* Vanessa Akuaku led the team in their win over the Grizzlies with a win at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles.
* Lawrencia Manu was another standout with wins at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles.
* With a win, the Quakers would advance to the HCAC Championship against the winner of #1 Transylvania and #4 Anderson on Sunday, May 4, at 1:30 PM.
EARLHAM SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series against the Quakers with a record of 17-6 overall against Earlham.
* The Fightin' Engineers defeated Earlham during the regular season with a final score of 5-2.
* The last time both teams faced eachother in the HCAC Tournament was during the 2017-18 season, with Rose-Hulman earning the win 5-0.
