PENDLETON, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team defeated Franklin College in the HCAC semifinal round with a final score of 4-0. The win improves the team to 12-9 overall and advances the Fightin' Engineers to the HCAC Championship match.
Rose-Hulman got off to a strong start, picking up the point in the doubles competition.
Grant Paradowski and
Ervin Perkowski picked up a win at No. 2 doubles, 6-4. The No. 3 doubles team of Joao Henrique Nossar and
Eli McIntyre also won, 7-5.
The Fightin' Engineers closed out the shutout win with victories at No. 1, No.3, and No. 4 singles to defeat the Franklin Grizzlies.
The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team will face Anderson in the HCAC Championship on Sunday, May 4, at 10:30 AM.
