Baseball Season Comes to an End After Loss to MSJ in HCAC Tournament

KOKOMO, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman baseball team wrapped up their 2025 season after a loss to Mount St. Joseph in the HCAC Tournament with a final score of 9-5.

Mount St. Joseph got on the board first, scoring three runs in the first inning. Rose-Hulman bounced back after a single by Jackson Summers brought in a run by Colton Brown, and a single by Brown scored runs by Tyler Otroszko and Jonathan Oliger to tie the game at 3-3.

The Lions jumped back in front, scoring six unanswered runs across the third, fourth, and fifth innings to build a commanding lead of 9-3.

The Fightin' Engineers tried to spark a comeback in the sixth inning. Ryland Hixon hit a double to bring in a run by Mark Serdinak, and Oliger singled to score a run by Summers to make the score 9-5.
