Rose-Hulman Matches-Up with Wabash in Home Opener

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Rose-Hulman will play in their home opener, as the Fightin' Engineers face Wabash on Wednesday, September 3 at 7 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers have opened the season with a 1-1 record.
* RHIT defeated the Greenville Panthers 3-0 during their first game of the season.
* Sophomores Eli Miller and Cameron Hannah, and junior William Wittich each scored goals.
* Freshman Justin Burns recorded a three-save shutout in his first career game.
* The Wilmington Quakers took down Rose-Hulman by a score of 2-0 in Rose's second game.
* Burns and Wittich each played all 90 minutes against Wilmington.
* Sophomore Ryan Shapiro leads the team with four shots on the season.
* Senior Jacob Pohl leads all field players with 144 minutes on the year.

WABASH NOTES:
* Wabash has been picked to finish sixth in the NCAC Preseason Poll.
* The Little Giants have opened the season with a 2-0 record.
* Wabash defeated Franklin 4-0 and Manchester 2-1 on their home field.
* Senior Angel Vasquez leads the team with two goals, scoring one in each game.
* Senior Myles Bernat has recorded a team-high five points with one goal and three assists.
* Junior Bryce Kinnaman has added one goal and one assist.
* Freshman goalkeeper Ansel Rincon has recorded four saves in 180 minutes of action.

SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman and Wabash will go up against each other for the 47th time.
