Rose-Hulman Seeks Success versus St. Mary-of-the-Woods

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Rose-Hulman will compete in their fifth consecutive home game as they host the St. Mary-of-the-Woods Pomeroys on Tuesday, September 16, at 7 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman started the year with a 4-2 record.
* The Fightin' Engineers have thrived at home, posting a 3-1 record.
* The squad is averaging 3.25 goals per game in wins.
* Rose-Hulman is coming off their largest margin of victory, where they defeated Millikin 5-0.
* Sophomores Cameron Hannah and Ryan Shapiro have scored three team-high goals.
* Both Hannah and Shapiro have added one assist for a team-best seven points.
* Six Rose-Hulman players have recorded at least one goal and one assist this year.
* Senior Jacob Pohl leads all field players with 453 minutes played.
* Freshman Justin Burns has recorded a 79.2% save percentage with 19 saves.
* Burns leads the HCAC with three shutouts. (No other player in the conference has more than one).

ST. MARY-OF-THE-WOODS NOTES:
* The Pomeroys have recorded a 2-6 mark on the season.
* The team has posted a 2-2 record over the past four games.
* St. Mary-of-the-Woods defeated Calumet College of St. Joseph 8-2.
* Sophomore Ivan Gelado Chavala has recorded a team-high eight points with three goals and two assists.
* Junior Jaime Gayol Pertierra and sophomore Andoni Ybanez have each added three goals.
* Junior Marc Valderrama has recorded two assists.
* Junior Harry Jackson has accumulated 34 saves (66.7% save percentage) and one shutout.

SERIES HISTORY:
* This will be the 2nd ever match-up between Rose-Hulman and St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
* Rose Hulman defeated St. Mary-of-the-Woods 1-0 at home last season.
* Sophomore Carson Manes scored the game-winning goal in the 65th minute on an assist from Hannah.
* Michael Trinh recorded a three-save shutout in the match.
* Senior Aidan Kriek led all field players for RHIT with 75 minutes of action.
