Football Takes Road Trip to Albion Saturday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.-- The Fightin' Engineer's football team will travel to take on Albion on Saturday, September 20, at 12 PM. 

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands at 0-2 so far this season after falling to DePauw and Trine. 
* The team comes off a tough loss to the Trine Thunder with a final score of 27-10.
* Jay Smith is the team's leading rusher with 127 yards this season.
* Adam Yue made his collegiate debut under center for the Fightin' Engineers against Trine, totaling 167 yards passing. 
* Kolten Nanko is the team's top receiver with 76 yards receiving this season. 
* Rudy Griffing leads the defense with 19.0 tackles on the year. 
* He is joined by Gabe Adams, who leads the team with 3.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks this season. 
* The Fightin' Engineers have been picked to finish third in the HCAC Preseason Poll, conducted by the league's head coaches. 
* The team earned 26 points in the preseason poll results. 
* Rose-Hulman finished last season in third place in the HCAC after earning an overall record of 5-5 and a conference record of 4-2. 
* The team returns five HCAC All-Conference selections from last year, including Jay SmithBen KleinMarshall KochWyatt Bell, and Antonio Barnes
* The Fightin' Engineers are led by Head Coach Jeff Sokol, who enters his 15th season with Rose-Hulman. Sokol has led Rose-Hulman to three HCAC Titles and two NCAA Playoff appearances in 2016 and 2021. 
* After traveling to face Albion, the Fightin' Engineers will enjoy a bye week and return home for Homecoming Weekend, where they host the Hanover Panthers on Saturday, October 4, at 2 PM.

ALBION NOTES:
* Albion enters Saturday's game with a 1-1 record so far this season.
* The team comes off a thrilling victory over Bluffton after two overtimes with a final score of 45-39. 
* The Britons fell short in their first game of the year in another overtime thriller to Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a score of 28-21.
* Ali Murray leads the team under center with 484 yards passing and five touchdown passes. 
* Alex Trudell is the team's leading rusher with 264 yards and three touchdowns this season. 
* The Britton's top receiver is Cameron Moore, totaling 172 yards and two touchdowns. 
* Adam Mills is a defensive standout with a team-high 19 tackles this season.
* Alex Olenik has been a menace in the backfield with 6.0 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. 
* Albion is led by Head Coach Travis Rundle in his third year at the helm of the program. 
* After hosting Rose-Hulman, the Britons will host Trine on Saturday, September 27, at 6 PM. 

SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman trails in the all-time series between both teams with a record of 0-2 so far this season. 
* The team fell to Albion in the 2022 and 2023 seasons. 
* This will be the second time in program history that the Fightin' Engineers will travel to take on Albion in a road game.
