ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman has kicked off the season with a 2-1 overall record.
* Freshman goalkeeper
Justin Burns was named HCAC Defensive Player of the Week during the first week of the season.
* Burns recorded eight saves, one shutout, and an 80.0% save percentage to earn the award.
* In the team's 3-0 season opener victory over Greenville, sophomores
Cameron Hannah and
Eli Miller, and senior
William Wittich each scored one goal.
* Junior
Oliver Fila added one assist in the victory.
* RHIT defeated Wabash College 2-1 in their most recent match.
* Freshman
Pace Morel scored the first goal of his college career on an assist from junior
Chase Kedzior.
* Sophomore
Ryan Shapiro scored the game-winning goal on a free kick.
* Rose-Hulman has scored five goals on the season, all of which have come from different players.
* Senior
Jacob Pohl leads all field players with 226 minutes on the season.
PRINCIPIA COLLEGE NOTES:
* The Panthers finished with a 7-6-3 record in 2024.
* Principia has opened the 2025 season with a 1-0-1 record.
* They defeated Missouri Baptist 2-0 in the season opener.
* Senior Afrani Wizzy scored the opening goal and assisted on the second goal of the game.
* The Panthers are coming off a 1-1 tie against Spurgeon.
* The team attempted 12 shots on target, with freshman Alejandro Liborio scoring the game-tying goal.
* Principia has played three different goalies in both games this season.
SERIES HISTORY:
* This will be Rose-Hulman's 34
th career game against Principia.
* Rose-Hulman trails in the series with a 13-18-2 record.
* Both teams are coming off a 2-2 tie in 2024.
