Terre Haute, Ind - The Fightin' Engineers improved to 3-1 on the season and Rose-Hulman took down the Principia Panthers 3-0.
The Fightin' Engineers wasted no time and scored in the opening 90 seconds with a goal by Chase Kedzior on a breakaway run.
Rose's offense continued to look to score early as they shot 8 more attempts before Ryan Shapiro was finally able to find the back of the net with the assistance of Cameron Hannah.
The Engineers went into half with a strong 2-0 lead over the Panthers having taken 12 shots to Principia's 0 and recorded just 1 corner kick in the opening 45.
Despite having not taken a shot during the first half, the Panthers came out looking to find the back of the net with an early shot that was just too high.
Having taken 3 more shots the Engineers were able to yet again find the net off a pass from Ben Neemann to Alex Gilmore, with the Engineers gaining a commanding 3-0 lead with less than 20 minutes left in regulation.
Despite two more shots by the Panthers they were never able to find the net and the Engineers were able to win the game 3-0.
The Engineers out shot the Panthers 19-4, recorded 4 corner kicks to the Panthers 1, and goal keeper Justin Burns recording just 1 save on the back of a strong defensive effort by the Engineers.
