GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team traveled to the DePauw University Invitational to open the 2025-26 season. The tournament was highlighted by multiple standout individual performances.
In doubles, the Fightin' Engineers secured two first-place finishes.
Ephraim Guthrie and
Joao Henrique Nossar went 3-0 at No. 3 doubles, while
Matthew Hydrick and
Renato Prado also went undefeated at 3-0 in No. 4 doubles.
Guthrie also pulled out a first-place finish in singles competition at the No. 5 spot, finishing 3-0 on the weekend.
In a competitive field of 10 teams, the Fightin' Engineers totaled 10 top-five finishes over the weekend across both doubles and singles draws.
The men's tennis team will travel a select few individuals to compete in the ITA Regionals in Kalamazoo, Michigan, from Friday, September 26 to Monday, September 29.
