Men's Basketball Travels to Berea for HCAC Action Friday Night

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's basketball team seeks their fourth conference win in a row, as they travels to take on Berea on Friday, January 23, at 6 PM. This game was moved from its originally scheduled date of Saturday, January 24, at 3 PM due to incoming weather in the area. 

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman stands at the top of the HCAC with a record of 11-6 overall and a HCAC record of 8-2.
* The Fightin' Engineers have won three games in a row, defeating Hanover, 81-61, Franklin, 74-48, and Manchester, 73-59.
Joey Schmitz currently leads the team with 14.3 points per game and also leads the team in steals with 29.
Christian Torres leads the team on the glass with 7.6 rebounds per game, while also totaling 10.2 points per game this season and an impressive 57.9% field goal percentage.
Cole Pride has been another difference maker, totaling 12.3 points per game and a team-high 19 blocked shots.
* Daniel Savovic is another effective scorer, averaging 11.1 points per game and totaling 42 assists on the year. 
* The Fightin' Engineers are currently shooting 47.5% as a team and 34.7% from beyond the arc. 
* Rose-Hulman has been selected to finish second in the HCAC Preseason Poll, earning 72 points and three first-place votes. 
* The team is led by Head Coach Nick Sales in his fourth season with the Fightin' Engineers. 
* After facing Berea, Rose-Hulman will return home to face Franklin on Wednesday, January 28, at 7:30 PM.

BEREA NOTES:
* Berea stands at 7-10 overall and 3-7 in the HCAC this season. 
* The team has dropped their last three games, most recently falling to Hanover with a final score of 82-61.
* Bryce Riley leads the team with 14.9 points and 7.0 rebounds per game this season.
