Rose-Hulman Honored with the College Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers have received the College Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award for the second consecutive season.
 
This award from the United Soccer Coaches Association recognizes teams that exhibit fair play and sportsmanship while adhering to the laws of the game.
 
Rose-Hulman received the Silver Award, as they were given just three yellow cards for an average of 0.15 cards per game. They are one of two teams in the HCAC, alongside Earlham, to be honored with the College Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award.
 
A total of 23 teams received the Silver Award for averaging 0.11-0.30 yellow cards per game. Massachusetts-Boston and Salve Regina earned the Gold Award for averaging 0.01-0.10 yellow cards, while Washington & Jefferson College earned the Platinum Award as they did not pick up a single card all year.
 
The Fightin' Engineers concluded the year with an 11-7-2 record, where the team went 7-1-1 in the HCAC. The Fightin' Engineers would capture their fourth HCAC Tournament Title in school history, where they advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
 
The College Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award adds to a plethora of achievements that the Fightin' Engineers have garnered during the 2025 season. The team fielded nine All-HCAC Honorees, the HCAC Defensive Player of the Year, four HCAC All-Tournament Team Selections, the HCAC Tournament Most Valuable Player, four All-Region Award Winners, two Scholar-All-Region Selections, and one Scholar-All-American.
