Rose-Hulman Hits the Road Against the Ravens

ANDERSON, Ind. - The Fightin' Engineers men's soccer team hits the road to face the Anderson Ravens in their third conference game of the season. The match will take place on Wednesday, October 7th, at 7 PM.

ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S SOCCER NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers have a 3-5-3 overall record, with a 1-1 conference record.
* RHIT is coming off of a 1-0 loss to Hanover in their first home conference game. 
* Rose-Hulman has scored 16 goals across their eleven games.
* Justin Burns leads the HCAC with four shutouts, posting a goals-against average of 1.30, which places him second in the conference.
* Ryan Shapiro ranks second in the conference in points, totaling 13 over nine games.
* Pace Morel leads the team with four assists.
* Alex Gilmore leads the team with 901 minutes, playing all 180 minutes in both conference matchups. 
* After facing Anderson, Rose-Hulman will return home Saturday, October 10th, at 3:30 pm to face the Mount Saint Joseph Lions. 

ANDERSON MEN'S SOCCER NOTES:.
* The Ravens currently hold a 5-5 record, with a 3-0 conference record.
* Anderson is coming off of a 1-0 over Earlham.
* Junior Carson Reed senior Wesley Lewis lead the team with seven points each.
* Both have recorded three goals and one assist each.
* Junior goalkeeper Braydon Kennedy ranks second in the conference with three shutouts.
* He has played in all 10 games, posting a 64.9% save percentage. 
* This is Head Coach Scott Fridley's 32nd year leading the Anderson men's soccer program.
* After hosting Rose-Hulman, the Ravens will travel to Manchester to face the Spartans on Wednesday, October 14th, at 3:30 pm.

SERIES HISTORY:
* This will be the 42nd meeting between the two programs.
* The Fightin' Engineers lead the series with a mark of 28-11-2.
* Rose-Hulman has won 13 of the last 15 contests.
* The last time they met was in the HCAC Quarterfinals match last fall, where Rose-Hulman secured a 1-0 victory. 
* Evan Lipsky scored the game winner to help the Fightin' Engineers advance to the HCAC Semifinals.
