Women's Tennis Set for Weekend Doubleheader

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers women's tennis team will hit the road for a weekend doubleheader against Roosevelt and Hope on Friday, February 13, at 2 PM and Saturday, February 14, at 8 AM. 

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 1-2 overall this season.
* Rose-Hulman was picked finish second in the HCAC Preseason Poll, receiving 40 points and two first-place votes. 
* The team comes off a 1-1 weekend where they fell to DePauw and defeated IU-Kokomo. 
* The Fightin' Engineers had an exciting victory over IU-Kokomo with a final score of 4-3. 
* Nova Gladden was the hero, earning the deciding point at No. 5 singles with scores of 6-4, 4-6, 6-2.
* The team returns First Team All-HCAC honorees Lia Taylor and Emerson Donaldson from last year's team.
Lia Taylor was also awarded the HCAC Newcomer of the Year last season. 
Addie PattersonNova Gladden, and Camille Clark all earned All-HCAC Honorable Mention last year for their efforts. 
* The Fightin' Engineers have finished the past two seasons as runner-ups in the HCAC Tournament. 
* The team is led by Head Coach Matt Wilson in his third season at the helm of the tennis program. 
* After facing Roosevelt and Hope, Rose-Hulman will prepare for their Florida trip where they will play a scrimmage and four matches across the first week of March.

ROOSEVELT NOTES:
* The Lakers stand undefeated at 4-0 overall this season. 
* The team comes off a win over the University of Chicago with a final score of 7-0.
* Zeynep Barut leads the team at No. 1 singles this season.
* Barut and Nathalie Ramazziini are the team's top doubles team in the No. 1 spot. 
* The team is led by Head Coach Dominic Denardo in his third year with the team.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, Roosevelt will battle Hope on Saturday, February 14.

HOPE NOTES:
* Hope stands at 1-3 overall this season.
* The team comes off a win over Ohio Northern with a score of 6-1.
* Amanda Lopykinski leads the team in the No. 1 singles spot. 
* Lopykinski and Jana Beier are the team's top doubles squad.
* The team is led by Head Coach Austin Hunt in his fifth season with the team. 
* After facing Rose-Hulman, Hope will take on Roosevelt on Saturday, February 14.
