Fightin' Engineers Face the Ravens in HCAC Quarterfinals

ANDERSON, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers are returning to the HCAC Tournament. Rose-Hulman will face the Anderson Ravens in the HCAC Quarterfinals on Saturday, February 21, at 1 PM.
 
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers wrapped up the 2025-26 regular season with a 9-16 record.
* Rose-Hulman has clinched the #6-seed in the HCAC Tournament with an 8-10 conference record.
* The Fightin' Engineers are playing their best basketball of the season, as they have won four of their past five games.
* Katelyn Fennell concludes the regular season as the HCAC leader in three-point percentage (40.6%) and free throw percentage (87.0%) while ranking third in field goal percentage (46.9%).
* She leads the Fightin' Engineers with 14.9 points and 6.2 rebounds, while adding 2.0 assists per game.
* Fennell has scored in double figures in 15 consecutive games, which is Rose-Hulman's longest streak since Alisa Dickerson recorded 27 straight games of ten or more points in the 2011-12 season.
* Sophia Reese has scored 10.3 points per game, shooting 39.1% from the field, 31.1% from three, and 86.0% at the charity stripe.
* Reese averaged 13.5 points and 7.5 assists per game this past week against Bluffton and Earlham.
Kaia Peterson is coming off her second double double of the season with 13 points and ten boards against Earlham.
* Peterson has recorded 13.8 points and 6.0 rebounds per game over Rose-Hulman's last four matches.
María Godoy Rodriguez has averaged 11.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.0 steals, and 3.0 blocks per game in the Fightin' Engineers last two matches.
* She has recorded 71 steals and an average of 2.8 steals per game which both rank second in school history.

ANDERSON NOTES:
* The Ravens have recorded a 16-9 overall record this season.
* Anderson has secured the #3-seed in the HCAC Tournament with a 12-6 conference mark.
* The Ravens have won six of their last seven games, with their only loss coming against Rose-Hulman.
* Senior Izzy Davis has scored a team-high 13.8 points per game, shooting 41.0% from the floor and 32.9% from three-point range.
* Davis ranks third in the conference with 4.1 assists, and she has added 4.0 rebounds per game.
* Senior Bella Larrison has recorded 12.8 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
* Larrison is shooting 40.5% from the floor and 30.0% from beyond the arc.
* Senior Sydney Sierota has scored 11.4 points per game on 35.1% three-point shooting.
* Sierota has hauled in 6.1 rebounds, and she ranks second in the HCAC with 4.2 assists per game.
* Junior Victoria Detraz has averaged 9.1 points per game, on an HCAC-leading 57.9% shooting from the floor.
* Detraz also ranks third in the conference with 10.6 rebounds per game, and she has averaged 16.0 rebounds over the team's last two games.

SEASON HISTORY:
* The Fightin' Engineers and the Ravens have recorded a head-to-head record of 1-1 this season.
* Anderson won at home by a score of 73-63 on December 13.
* Rose-Hulman also won at home by a score of 79-54 on February 7.
* Emma Schipp scored her career-high of 21 points in the loss against Anderson.
* She hauled in nine rebounds, while shooting 9-13 from the field and 3-5 from three-point range.
* Katelyn Fennell (15), Sophia Reese (15), CK Gallegos Rodriguez (14), and Kaia Peterson (11) each scored in double figures in the win over Anderson.
