TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team will travel to Florida over spring break for an action-filled week of competition, playing four varsity matches in the first week of March.
ROSE-HULMAN WOMEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 1-4 overall this season.
* The team's lone win came against IU-Kokomo with a final score of 4-3.
* Rose-Hulman has had a tough schedule to start their spring season, with some strong competition, including losses to DePauw, Roosevelt, and Hope.
* The Fightin' Engineers were picked finish second in the HCAC Preseason Poll, receiving 40 points and two first-place votes.
* The team returns First Team All-HCAC honorees
Lia Taylor and
Emerson Donaldson from last year's team.

Lia Taylor was also awarded the HCAC Newcomer of the Year last season.

Addie Patterson,
Nova Gladden, and
Camille Clark all earned All-HCAC Honorable Mention last year for their efforts.
* The Fightin' Engineers have finished the past two seasons as runner-ups in the HCAC Tournament.
* The team is led by Head Coach
Matt Wilson in his third season at the helm of the tennis program.
* After competing on their spring trip, the Fightin' Engineers will begin conference play, traveling to take on Berea on Saturday, March 14, at 10 AM.
