GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team traveled to face DePauw on Tuesday night in their spring opener. The Fightin' Engineers fell to the Tigers with a final score of 6-1.
Rose-Hulman earned its lone win at No. 6 singles with
Julia Burt claiming the victory with a score of 6-4, 6-3.Â
Emerson Donaldson was another standout, falling in a third-set tiebreaker after a hard-fought match at No. 1 singles with a score of 3-6, 6-4, 0-1 (6-10).
The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team will return to action this weekend, traveling to take on IU Kokomo on Saturday, February 7, at 1:30 PM.
