CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team suffered a loss to Case Western in their first game of the spring season with a final score of 7-0. This drops the team to 1-1 overall this season.
Chris Lian was a standout for the Fightin' Engineers, putting up a strong performance at No. 4 singles. After splitting the first two sets 6-3, 4-6, Lian fell just short in the third set tiebreaker with a score of 10-4.
Ervin Perkowski also played well, representing Rose at No. 2 singles. He lost a close match with a final score of 4-6, 6-3, 1-6.
Rose-Hulman will return to action on Sunday, February 8, facing DePauw on the road at 2 PM.
