TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Sophomore
Nova Gladden has been voted the HCAC Player of the Week for the first time this season, and second time in her career.
During the Fightin' Engineers' trip to Florida, Gladden recorded a 3-1 mark at No. 3 Doubles and a perfect 2-0 record at No. 6 Singles.
Rose-Hulman opened the week with a 7-0 thrashing of Concordia Wisconsin, where Gladden picked up a 6-2 doubles victory.
The Chicago, Ill. native would follow that up with a flawless performance in Rose-Hulman's 5-2 win over Capital. Gladden accumulated a 6-0, 6-0 victory in singles and a 6-0 victory in doubles.
Gladden would conclude the week with a 6-1 doubles win over Allegheny, and a 2-6, 6-4, (10-5) singles win against Wartburg.
The civil engineering major will look to continue to thrive in Rose-Hulman's HCAC Opener. The Fightin' Engineers will travel to Kentucky to take on Berea, Saturday, March 14, at 10 AM.
