TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers women's tennis team will begin HCAC play against Berea on the road this Saturday, March 14, at 1 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 3-6 overall this season.
* The team returns to play after competing in four matches on their Florida trip, finishing the week with a 2-2 record with wins over Concordia Wisconsin and Capital.

Nova Gladden was named the HCAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance across the week.
* Gladden went undefeated at 2-0 in singles matches and posted a record of 3-1 in doubles play to total an overall record of 5-1 on the week.
* Rose-Hulman was picked to finish second in the HCAC Preseason Poll, receiving 40 points and two first-place votes.
* The team returns First Team All-HCAC honorees
Lia Taylor and
Emerson Donaldson from last year's team.

Lia Taylor was also awarded the HCAC Newcomer of the Year last season.

Addie Patterson,
Nova Gladden, and
Camille Clark all earned All-HCAC Honorable Mention last year for their efforts.
* The Fightin' Engineers have finished the past two seasons as runner-ups in the HCAC Tournament.
* The team is led by Head Coach
Matt Wilson in his third season at the helm of the tennis program.
* After facing Berea, Rose-Hulman will travel to take on Trine on Saturday, March 21, at 11 AM.
BEREA NOTES:
* The Berea Mountaineers stand at 0-2 overall and 0-2 in the HCAC this season.
* The team comes off two losses to Anderson and Hanover.
* Odre Uwimana represents the team at No. 1 singles.
* Diliara Galiera is the team's No. 2 singles player.
* Uwimana and Galiera represent the Mountaineers at No. 1 singles this season.
* Berea was selected to finish eighth in the HCAC Preseason Poll, earning seven points.
* The team is led by Head Coach Rich Dodd.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, Berea will travel to take on Transylvania on Saturday, March 21, at 11 AM.
BEREA SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series against Berea with a record of 1-0 against the Mountaineers.
* The teams faced off last season for the first time in program history last season, with Rose earning the win 7-0.
* This will be the first time that Rose-Hulman travels to face Berea on the road in program history.
