TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced its weekly awards for the sport of men's tennis. Ervin Perkowski has been named the HCAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Perkowski led the Fightin' Engineers to three wins over MSOE, Trine, and Franklin this past week.

The junior computer science and software engineering major finished the week undefeated, going 3-0 in doubles and 3-0 in singles play for an overall record of 6-0.

Against MSOE, the Lincolnshire, Illinois native earned wins at No. 1 doubles and No. 1 singles. Against Trine and Franklin, he picked up wins at No. 2 doubles and No. 2 singles. 

This is the third HCAC Athlete of the Week for Perkowski in his college career and his second of the season. 

Rose-Hulman men's tennis will return to action, hosting a tri-match with Wabash and Principia this Saturday, March 28. The team will face Wabash at 10 AM and Principia at 4 PM.
