TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced the weekly award winners for the sport of women's tennis.
Paige Mills had been named the HCAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance against Principia this weekend.
Mills was a standout for Rose-Hulman in their win over Principia with a final score of 6-1. The freshman chemistry major went undefeated against the Panthers with a record of 2-0.
She teamed up with
Camille Clark at No. 2 doubles to earn a victory with a score of 6-2. Mills also won her No. 3 singles match with scores of 6-0, 6-0.
This is the first career HCAC Athlete of the Week award for the Powder Springs, Georgia native in her college career with the Fightin' Engineers.
The women's tennis team will return to conference play, hosting Transylvania on Saturday, April 4, at 10 AM.
