TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers women's tennis team returns home to host Transylvania in HCAC action on Saturday, April 4, at 10 AM. The match will be played at the Terre Haute Tennis & Pickleball Center due to incoming weather.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 6-7 overall and 2-0 in the HCAC this season.
* Rose comes off a victory over Principia on Saturday with a final score of 6-1.

Paige Mills has been named HCAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week for her performance against the Principia Panthers.
* Mills went 2-0, picking up wins at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles.
* Mills,
Emerson Donaldson, and
Autumn Korey lead the team in singles play with seven wins each this season.

Nova Gladden is the top doubles player for Rose-Hulman with nine wins this season.
* The top doubles team this year has been Donaldson and Gladden, with a record of 5-2.
* Rose-Hulman was picked to finish second in the HCAC Preseason Poll, receiving 40 points and two first-place votes.

* The team comes off a win over Earlham with a final score of 5-2.
* Paulina Razo-Zapata and Maria Hayes lead the team in the No. 1 doubles spot.
* Razo-Zapata represents the Pioneers at No. 1 singles.
* Transylvania was picked to finish first in the HCAC Preseason Poll, earning 46 points and five first-place votes.
* The team is led by Head Coach Bill Carey in his seventh year with the Pioneers.
