Women's Tennis Hosts Anderson in HCAC Showdown Saturday

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers women's tennis team will face Anderson in HCAC action on Saturday, April 18, at 11 AM. 

ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 8-8 overall and 3-1 in the HCAC this season.
* The team has won two straight matches, defeating Greenville 5-2 and Earlham 4-3. 
* Autumn Korey leads the team with nine singles wins this season. 
* Following her are Emerson Donaldson and Paige Mills with eight wins each in singles play.
* Nova Gladden is the team's top doubles player with 11 wins in doubles competition.
* Donaldson follows her with nine doubles wins this year. 
* The best doubles duo for the Fightin' Engineers this season is Gladden and Donaldson with a record of 7-2. 
* Rose-Hulman was picked to finish second in the HCAC Preseason Poll, receiving 40 points and two first-place votes. 
* The team returns First Team All-HCAC honorees Lia Taylor and Emerson Donaldson from last year's team.
Lia Taylor was also awarded the HCAC Newcomer of the Year last season. 
Addie PattersonNova Gladden, and Camille Clark all earned All-HCAC Honorable Mention last year for their efforts. 
* The team is led by Head Coach Matt Wilson in his third season at the helm of the tennis program. 
* After hosting Anderson, Rose-Hulman will travel to face Hanover on Saturday, April 25, at 10 AM. 

ANDERSON NOTES:
* Anderson stands at 6-8 overall this season and 3-2 in the HCAC.
* The team comes off a win over Manchester with a final score of 7-0.
* Ella Frantz and Paula Torrent lead the team at No. 1 doubles this season.
* Frants represents the Ravens at No. 1 singles. 
* The Anderson Ravens have been selected to finish fourth in the HCAC Preseason Poll, earning 35 points.
* The team is led by Head Coach Scott Greve in his third season with the Ravens.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, Anderson will travel to take on Transylvania on Saturday, April 25, at 11 AM.

ANDERSON SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman leads the all-time series between both teams with a record of 17-11 against the Ravens.
* Rose defeated Anderson last season with a final score of 4-3.
