TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The NCAA has updated its regional rankings for Region VI of NCAA Division III men's tennis. Rose-Hulman has climbed into the top six teams in the rankings, receiving its first NCAA regional rank in program history.

The team stands with Carthage, Kalamazoo, North Central (Ill.), UChicago, and WashU in the NCAA Regional Rankings.

Tim Eckermann was named in the regional singles rankings outside of the top eight listed as under consideration. Chris Lian and Eckermann are also listed as under consideration in the regional doubles rankings, just outside of the top six-ranked duos.

The Fightin' Engineers jumped into the ITA National Rankings at the beginning of April, being ranked 58th in the country across all NCAA Division III programs. The team now ranks 62nd in the ITA National Rankings in the most recent release on Wednesday, April 15.

Rose-Hulman men's tennis currently sits at 10-7 overall this season with a perfect 4-0 record in the HCAC this year. The team leads the conference standings and has been picked as the favorite to win the HCAC title in this year's HCAC Men's Tennis Preseason Poll, earning 42 points and seven first-place votes. The team has been named HCAC Champions the last two years, making appearances at the NCAA Tournament in the 2024-25 and 2023-24 seasons.
