TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Sophomore Emerson Donaldson has claimed the second HCAC Athlete of the Week award of her career.
 
Donaldson helped Rose-Hulman secure a first-round bye in the HCAC Tournament as they earned the #2 seed with a 4-3 win over Hanover and a 7-0 win against Manchester.
 
The Greenwood, Ind. native achieved a perfect 4-0 record, winning both her matches at No. 1 singles. She recorded a 6-3, 6-4 victory against Hanover and a 6-0, 6-0 win over Manchester.
 
Donaldson also secured doubles wins alongside Nova Gladden, as the duo took down Hanover 6-3 at No. 3 doubles and Manchester 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
 
The reigning All-HCAC First Team selection will look to continue her success at the HCAC Tournament. The Fightin' Engineers will take on the winner of #3 Hanover and #6 Franklin in the HCAC Semifinals on Saturday, May 2, at 2 PM.
