TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Men's tennis standouts
Tim Eckermann and
Ervin Perkowski have both been named to the CSC Academic All-District list awarded by College Sports Communicators.
Eckermann is a sophomore mechanical engineering major at Rose-Hulman. He was a key performer for the Fightin' Engineers this season, finishing the year with a record of 13-9 in singles play and a record of 13-9 in doubles competition.
Perkowski is a junior computer science and software engineering major. He was another impactful player for Rose-Hulman this year, ending the season with a 10-13 record in singles and a 15-10 record in doubles.
CSC Academic All-District Team honorees are chosen by the national organization based on combined academic and athletic accomplishments. The minimum academic requirement for nominees is a GPA above 3.50, with the student-athlete competing in at least their sophomore year. To be eligible, athletes must have competed in at least 75 percent of the team's dual matches throughout the season.
CSC members will vote on the Academic All-America Team over the next week. The 2026 NCAA Division III CSC Academic All-America Men's Tennis Team will be announced on Wednesday, June 3, at noon.
