Men's Tennis Completes the Three-Peat With Third Straight HCAC Tournament Title

PENDLETON, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team has won their third consecutive HCAC Tournament Title after defeating the Anderson Ravens with a final score of 4-0. The win advances the Fightin' Engineers to 15-7 overall this season.

This is Rose-Hulman's 10th HCAC Tournament Title on the men's side in program history. This is also the first time since 2016 that both the men's and women's teams have won the HCAC Championship in the same year.

Ephraim Guthrie was exceptional the whole weekend, earning HCAC Tournament MVP for his efforts.

Rose-Hulman got off to a hot start, picking up wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to claim the doubles point. The team of Eli McIntyre and Ervin Perkowski picked up a victory in the No. 2 spot with a score of 7-5. The No. 3 team of Joo Henrique Nossar and Guthrie defeated their opponents, 6-4.

The Fightin' Engineers continued to shine in singles play. Henrique Nossar earned a big win at No. 1 singles with scores of 6-3, 6-1. Guthrie earned another win at No. 4 singles with scores of 6-2, 6-3. Yuki Usuda was the other singles winner in the No. 6 spot with scores of 6-2, 6-3.
