TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team will travel to WashU to take on Kenyon in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, May 7, at 2 PM ET, 1 PM CT.
ROSE-HULMAN WOMEN'S NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers earned the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament after defeating Transylvania in the HCAC Championship with a final score of 4-1.
* This is the third HCAC Tournament Title for the Rose-Hulman women's tennis program and their third appearance in the NCAA Tournament in program history.
* The last time Rose-Hulman qualified for the NCAA Tournament was in the 2016 season.
* The Fightin' Engineers have only been to the national tournament twice in program history, during the 2010 and 2016 seasons, and have never won an NCAA Tournament match.
* Rose-Hulman stands at 13-8 overall this season, entering the tournament.

Emerson Donaldson leads the team with 13 singles wins this season.

Autumn Korey ranks second on the team with 12 singles wins on the year.

Nova Gladden is the team's top doubles player with 15 wins in doubles competition.
* Donaldson follows her with 13 doubles wins this year.
* The best doubles duo for the Fightin' Engineers this season is Gladden and Donaldson with a record of 11-3.

* With a win over Kenyon, Rose-Hulman would advance to face the winner of Grinnell and Wheaton on Friday, May 8, at 3 PM ET, 2 PM CT.
KENYON WOMEN'S NOTES:
* Kenyon earned their spot in the NCAA Tournament after defeating Denison in the North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament with a final score of 5-0.
* The team makes its fourth straight and 26th overall appearance in the national tournament.
* The team ranks 14th in the ITA Rankings across all of NCAA Division III.
* The Owls enter the NCAA Tournament with a record of 18-5 overall.
* Eleni Lazaridou and Hana Nouaime lead the team at No. 1 doubles with a record of 13-5 on the year.
* Lazaridou represents the Owls at No. 1 singles with a record of 17-6 overall this season.
* The team is led by Head Coach Dominic Modise in his second season with the team.
