GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team traveled to compete in the DePauw Invitational over the weekend. The team had some strong standout performances to start the season.
Abigail Kallio was the top performer for the Fightin' Engineers, finishing 4-2 overall. She earned a runner-up finish in the No. 6 draw with a record of 2-1. Kallio teamed up with
Julia Burt in the No. 3 doubles draw to go 2-1 and claim a runner-up finish. Burt also shined in the No. 5 singles draw, earning a runner-up finish with a record of 1-1.
The No. 2 doubles team of
Emerson Donaldson and
Nova Gladden also had some success, finishing second in the No. 2 doubles draw with a record of 2-1.
The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team will return to action on the road against Greenville on Saturday, September 19, at 10:30 AM CT.
