TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman Fightin' Engineers football team returns home to host Albion College on Saturday, September 19, at 1 PM.
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 1-1 overall this season after an exciting road win over Kalamazoo with a score of 27-7.

William Fleck was named the HCAC Defensive Athlete of the Week and was named to the D3football.com Team of the Week for his performance.Â
* Fleck tied a nine-year-old record for most sacks in a single game, previously set by Mike Riley in the 2017 season.Â
* He recorded 5.0 sacks, seven tackles, and one forced fumble in the big win.Â
* Fleck currently leads all of NCAA Division III with 6.0 sacks so far this season.

Rudy Griffing earned HCAC Special Teams Athlete of the Week for his performance against Kalamazoo.
* Griffing recovered a muffed punt in the end zone for a Rose-Hulman touchdown to extend the team's lead to 27-7 in the fourth quarter.Â

Brock Zanetell has been exceptional at the quarterback position for the Fightin' Engineers with 446 yards passing and three touchdowns in the past two games.Â
* Zanetell has also contributed in the run game with 70 yards rushing and one rushing touchdown.Â

Alexander Marsteller is the team's leading rusher with 100 yards and two rushing touchdowns.Â

Avery Cody has been the top receiver for Rose-Hulman with 10 catches for 196 yards and two touchdowns this year.

Joseph Coveliers is the team's leading tackler with 14 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss and one sack.Â

Trevor Zielke and
Antonio Barnes also have double figures in tackles this season with 12 and 10 tackles each.Â
*Â Rose-Hulman has been picked to finish fourth in the HCAC Preseason Poll, earning 21 points.
* Rose returns six All-HCACÂ honorees from the 2025 campaign.Â
* The team's top returners include First Team All-HCAC defensive backÂ
Antonio Barnes and Second Team All-HCAC and Third Team All-Region defensive backÂ

* Albion stands at 0-2 overall this season with losses to Illinois Wesleyan and Wheaton.
* The Brits fell in their last game against Wheaton with a final score of 45-3.
* Jackson Volz leads the team at quarterback with 172 passing yards.
* Alex Trudell is the team's leading rusher with 101 rushing yards this year and one rushing touchdown.
* Amarr Hunter leads the receiving corps with four catches for 83 yards.Â
* Devon Buskin Jr. is the top defender for Albion, totaling a team-high 18 tackles with three pass breakups.
* Dewayne Williams has been the menace in the backfield, leading the team with 3.0 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks this season.
* The team is led by Head Coach Travis Rundle in his fourth season with the Brits.
* After traveling to face the Fightin' Engineers, Albion will hit the road to face #18 Hope College on Saturday, September 26, at 1 PM.Â
