Rose-Hulman Preps for Road Match with the Panthers

GREENVILLE, Ill. – The Fightin' Engineers head to Greenville, Illinois to face the Greenville Panthers. The match will begin on Saturday, September 19 at 10 AM CT, 11 AM ET.
 
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* Rose-Hulman is the reigning HCAC Tournament Champions.
* The team fields four all-conference honorees from last season, including All-HCAC First Teamer, junior Emerson Donaldson.
* The Fightin' Engineers opened the season at the DePauw Invitational.
* Junior Abigail Kallio had a stellar showing, recording a 4-2 overall record.
* She claimed a 2-1 record at No. 6 singles to finish as the Runner-Up.
* Kallio and junior Julia Burt teamed up at No. 3 doubles, finishing as the Runners-Up with a 2-1 record.
* Burt added a 1-1 record at No. 5 singles, to finish as the Runner-Up as well.
* Donaldson and junior Nova Gladden would also thrive at No. 2 doubles.
* The duo posted a record of 2-1 to claim the Runners-Up spot.
 
GREENVILLE NOTES:
* The Panthers are opening the season against the Fightin' Engineers.
* Greenville recorded a mark of 17-8 last season, going 4-0 in conference play.
* The team advanced to the conference championship, falling to Wisconsin-Superior 4-1.
* Senior Lanie Carder achieved an overall singles record of 18-3 with a 14-1 mark at No. 2 singles.
* Carder added a 16-6 doubles record, highlighted by a 13-2 mark at No. 2 doubles.
* Senior Irlanda Oliver posted a record of 11-5 at No. 1 singles.
* Oliver added a record of 10-5 at No. 1 doubles.
 
SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman matches up with Greenville for the 11th time in program history.
* The series is currently tied with a record of 5-5.
* Greenville won five consecutive matches from 2022 to 2025.
* Rose-Hulman took down the Panthers 5-2 last season.
* Autumn Korey (No. 4), Nova Gladden (No. 5), and Julia Burt (No. 6) each won their singles matches in two sets.
