TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Sophomore Justin Burns has been named the HCAC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in his career.
 
Burns was instrumental in Rose-Hulman's 0-0 tie with Ohio Northern, where he secured a season-high six saves without allowing a goal. He has now recorded three shutouts on the year which is tied for the most in the HCAC.
 
The Tulsa, Oklahoma native added four saves in Rose-Hulman's loss to DePauw. He has now recorded four or more saves in each of the past three games.
 
Burns finished the week with ten saves, while recording an 83.3% save percentage.
 
The civil engineering major will look to secure another clean sheet as Rose-Hulman hosts Wilmington on Tuesday, September 22 at 7 PM.
