TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman women's volleyball team will host DePauw on Wednesday, September 23, at 7 PM for their home opener in Hulbert Arena. 

ROSE-HULMAN VOLLEYBALL NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 2-8 overall this season.
* Rose-Hulman comes off a win over Kalamazoo in the Ohio Wesleyan Tournament in an exciting five-set match with a score of 3-2.
* Emma Blanton leads the team with 86 kills this season, averaging 2.32 kills per set.
* She is followed by Keira Ohse with 79 kills and 2.14 kills per set. 
* Julia Irmen is the team's top setter with 253 assists, averaging 8.43 assists per set.
* Irmen has also totaled an impressive 12 service aces this season.
* The team's top defender has been Shae Clements with 116 digs, averaging 3.31 digs per set. 
* Rose-Hulman has been picked to finish fifth in the HCAC Preseason Poll, earning 48 points.
* The team returns three of their All-HCAC honorees from last year, including Second Team All-HCAC and Newcomer of the Year Greta Carlson. 
* Other Second Team All-HCAC returners include Keira Ohse and Emma Blanton.
* The Fightin' Engineers are led by Head Coach Rachel Delsi in her ninth season at Rose-Hulman.
* After hosting DePauw, Rose-Hulman will host a tri-match on Saturday, September 26, facing Illinois Tech and Trine at 11 AM and 3 PM. 

DEPAUW VOLLEYBALL NOTES:
* DePauw enters the midweek matchup with a record of 8-3 overall this season.
* The Tigers come off a loss to Hanover with a final score of 3-1. 
* Madeline Ozersky is the team's leading hitter with 116 kills this season, averaging 2.90 kills per set.
* She is followed by Jen Proeh with 96 kills and 2.40 kills per set
* Julia McWaters is the team's top setter with a team-high 261 assists, averaging 6.53 assists per set.
* Lacey Pickering is the Tigers' best defender with 138 digs, averaging 4.06 digs per set. 
* The Tigers are led by Head Coach Deb Zellers in her 33rd season with DePauw.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, DePauw will return home to host Oberlin to start conference play on Saturday, September 26, at 1 PM. 

SERIES HISTORY: 
* Rose-Hulman trails in the all-time series against the Tigers with a record of 4-37 overall.
* The teams faced off last season, with DePauw earning the win with a score of 3-0.
