TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced its weekly awards for the sport of men's tennis. Ervin Perkowski has been named the HCAC Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for his performance against Greenville. 

Perkowski went undefeated in Rose-Hulman's exciting win over Greenville with a final score of 4-3. Perkowski went 2-0, picking up a win with his partner Eli McIntyre at No. 2 doubles, 6-3, and defeating his opponent at No. 3 singles with a score of 6-4, 6-4. 

This is the fourth HCAC Athlete of the Week award for Perkowski in his college career with the Fightin' Engineers. 

The men's tennis team will look ahead, traveling to Brownsburg, Indiana, to compete in the ITA Regionals hosted by Wabash College on Friday, October 2.
