TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Rose-Hulman men's tennis will compete in ITA Regionals this weekend, hosted by Wabash. The team opens the tournament in Greencastle, Indiana on Friday, October 2, before continuing the competition in Brownsburg, Indiana on Saturday, October 3 through Sunday, October 4. The team will also play a varsity match on Saturday, October 3, against IU Southeast. 
 
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers stand at 1-0 overall this season.
* The team earned a victory against Greenville in their first duel match of the season. 
* Ervin Perkowski was named HCAC Athlete of the Week for his performance against the Panthers. 
* Perkowski went 2-0, picking up wins at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles.
* Rose-Hulman returns all six HCAC All-Conference selections, including Tim Eckermann, Ephraim Guthrie, Chris Lian, Joao Henrique Nossar, Ervin Perkowski, and Yuki Usuda.
* Eckermann was named conference Player of the Year.
* The team is led by Head Coach Matt Wilson, who won HCAC Men's Coach of the Year and is entering his fourth season at the helm of the men's and women's tennis programs.
* After competing at ITA Regionals and against IU Southeast, the Fightin' Engineers will host Asbury on Saturday, October 17, at 11 AM.

IU SOUTHEAST NOTES:
* IU Southeast stands at 0-2 overall this season.
* The team comes off a loss to Hanover with a score of 6-1.
* The Grenadiers are led by Trey Gutgsell and Elijah Brosmer at the No. 1 doubles spot. 
* Brosmer is the team's top singles player competing at No. 1 singles this season. 
* The team is led by Head Coach Clif Winchell.
* After facing Rose-Hulman, IU Southeast will travel to take on the University of Indianapolis on Saturday, October 17, at 11 AM. 
 
SERIES HISTORY:
* The Fightin' Engineers have a record of 6-5 all-time against IU Southeast.
* The team has lost their last four matches against the Grenadiers, dating back to the 2013-14 season.
* The last time Rose-Hulman defeated IU Southeast was during the 2006-07 season with a final score of 7-2.
