MADISON, Wis. – Rose-Hulman recorded an eighth-place finish out of 17 teams at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Invitational. The team achieved an overall score of 666 (+90).
Sophomore
Lauren Slatton won her third consecutive Individual Championship with a score of 140 (-4). She finished four strokes below second-place finisher Annabelle Chan and 11 strokes below third-place finisher Rachel LeMay.
Slatton finished the tournament with seven birdies, which included five on the opening round.
Senior
Elizabeth Ma tied for 20th place with a 161 (+17) score. She recorded a total of four birdies, with two coming on each round.
Freshman
Zora Matthews rounded out Rose-Hulman's top three finishers as she tied for 53rd place with a 172 (+28) score. She tied Ma with four birdies, while also recording two on each round.
Freshman
Anna Marrero tied for 92nd place with a 192 (+49) score, and sophomore
Tatum Tanchuck finished in 94th with a 212 (+68) score.
Rose-Hulman will continue the season at the Clovernook Women's Intercollegiate in Cincinnati, Ohio. The two-day tournament will take place on Monday, October 12 through Tuesday, October 13.
