TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman's men's tennis team is set to open their season on the road at the DePauw Invitational on Saturday, September 5, at 8 AM. 

ROSE-HULMAN MEN'S TENNIS NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers come off an impressive finish to the 2025 season.
* The team won their tenth conference championship in the last 11 years.
* For the first time in program history, the Fightin' Engineers received an NCAA regional ranking, making it inside the top six.
* The doubles team of Tim Eckermann and Chris Lian ranked sixth in the region, with Eckermann being listed as "in consideration" as a singles competitor
* This is the third consecutive season the Fightin' Engineers have won the HCAC and qualified for the NCAA Tournament.
* The team suffered a loss to Luther in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to end the season with a final score of 4-0.
* Rose-Hulman returns all six HCAC All-Conference selections, including Tim Eckermann, Ephraim Guthrie, Chris Lian, Joao Henrique Nossar, Ervin Perkowski, and Yuki Usuda.
* Eckermann was named conference Player of the Year.
* The team is led by Head Coach Matt Wilson, who won HCAC Men's Coach of the Year and is entering his fourth season at the helm of the men's and women's tennis programs.
* After competing in the DePauw Invitational, Rose-Hulman will travel to Greenville, Illinois on Saturday, September 19, to face the Greenville Panthers.
