GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Rose-Hulman men's tennis team opened their 2025-26 season over the weekend at the DePauw Invitational. The team competed individually in the singles and doubles draw tournament format.
Adrien Atkinson had a standout performance in his Rose-Hulman debut. The freshman went undefeated with a 3-0 record to win the No. 5 singles draw and teamed up with
Yuki Usuda to go 2-0 in the No. 4 doubles draw.
Ephraim Guthrie was another impressive performer for the Fightin' Engineers. He went 2-1 to finish runner-up in the No. 4 singles draw and teamed up with
Joao Henrique Nossar to go undefeated at 2-0 in No. 3 doubles.
Ervin Perkowski also earned a runner-up finish, going 2-1 overall to finish second in the No. 2 singles draw. Perkowski paired with
Eli McIntyre to go 1-1 in No. 2 doubles play.
The Fightin' Engineers men's tennis team will return to action on the road, facing Greenville on Saturday, September 19, at 1:30 PM CT.
