Rose-Hulman Hosts Reigning National Champions in Double Header Week

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Fightin' Engineers will continue the season with a pair of home and away matches this week. Rose-Hulman will face Greenville on the road on Tuesday, September 8 at 8 PM ET (7 PM CT), before hosting #1 Washington-St. Louis Bears on Thursday, September 10 at 7 PM.
 
ROSE-HULMAN NOTES:
* The Fightin' Engineers have kicked off the season with a record of 2-0.
* Rose-Hulman defeated St. Mary-of-the-Woods 5-0 and are coming off a 2-1 win over Millikin.
* Junior Lena Darini leads the HCAC with three goals in two games.
* Darini scored a career-high two goals against SMOTW and added the opening goal against Millikin.
* Freshman Madison Fleury leads the HCAC with three assists, which all came in the same game against St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
* Fleury would also score the game winning goal over Millikin.
* Senior Emma Johns would also make an impact against SMOTW, scoring one goal while adding two assists.
* Freshman Delaney Untermeyer recorded both a goal and an assist against St. Mary-of-the-Woods.
* Senior Meagan Hall added the opening goal of the season in the win over SMOTW.
* Senior Vianey Garcia has appeared in all 90 minutes of both matches.
* Garcia assisted on Darini's goal against Millikin.
* Sophomore Alicia Gonzalez has hauled in four saves, while giving up just one goal on the season.
 
GREENVILLE NOTES:
* The Panthers have opened the season with a record of 0-3.
* The team has been unable to find the back of the net so far this season, and they are coming off a 1-0 defeat to Aurora.
* Senior Avery Rahden leads the team with four shots on goal on five attempts.
* Senior Ashlyn Wuebbels and junior Peyton Turner have appeared in all 270 minutes.
* Freshman Kadynce Jones has recorded 18 saves for an average of six saves per game.
 
#1 WASHU NOTES:
* The Bears are the reigning 2025 and 2024 NCAA Division III National Champions.
* The last time WashU lost a game was in the 2023 NCAA Division III National Championship.
* The team has started the year with a 3-0 record.
* They have outscored their opponents 32-0, highlighted by a 14-0 win over Greenville and 11-0 win over Westminster.
* Senior Julia Moore has recorded a team-high five goals, scoring at least once in every game.
* Junior Cami Colpitts has scored four goals while dishing out two assists.
* She posted a hat trick in the season opening win over Greenville.
* Sophomore Maya Stevenson has scored three goals with three assists on the season.
* Stevenson recorded eight points against Greenville, recording three goals with two assists.
* WashU's 32 goals have come from 16 different players.
* On the defensive side, the Bears have only allowed four shots on target.
* Senior Charlotte Shapiro and junior Suzie Green have each recorded two saves without giving up a goal.
 
GREENVILLE SERIES HISTORY:
* The Fightin' Engineers will face Greenville for the 19th time in program history.
* Rose-Hulman leads the series with a record of 14-3-1.
* RHIT posted a six-game winning streak from 2012 to 2017 where they did not allow a goal.
* The Fightin' Engineers have remained unbeaten over their last four games.
* The team defeated Greenville 3-1 during their last match-up in 2024.
* The Fightin' Engineers overcame a 1-0 deficit in the win.
* Sydnee Schuler scored two goals on a team-high five shots off the bench.
 
WASHU SERIES HISTORY:
* Rose-Hulman will take on WashU for the eighth time.
