Biography

Career: Kate crossed the 1,000 digs mark last season in her third year on the Engineer roster.
2012: Three-time HCAC Defensive Player of the Week selection and chosen second-team Capital One academic all-district...led the team with 478 digs...added 28 aces and 28 assists... had 24 digs against Millikin and pitched in with 23 digs against Centre and Defiance... recorded 20 or more digs in a match eight times...tied a career-high with four service aces against Manchester.
2011: Finished third on the team with 336 digs...reached double figures in digs 16 times, including a season-high 20 against IU-Southeast...had six kills vs.  Eureka...set a career-high with three blocks against Eureka.
2010: Tallied 197 digs as a libero and outside hitter...had a career-high 28 digs in the team’s victory over DePauw...added 25 digs against Centre...reached double figures in digs six times...had a career-high 12 kills and a .370 hitting percentage against Earlham.
At Rose-Hulman: Civil Engineering Faculty Award Winner in 2013...vice-president of the American Society of Civil Engineers...Chi Omega sorority member...Blue Key honor fraternity member.
High School: Three-year letter winner in volleyball...Most Valuable Player, captain and second-team all-league as a senior.
