Nick Rush is in his second year with Rose-Hulman Athletics as the Graduate Assistant in Sports Information. He is currently pursuing his master's degree online at Indiana State University in Sport Management.
A Terre Haute native, Rush graduated from Manchester University in May 2020 with two degrees in Sport Management and Marketing. Rush spent 3.5 years in Manchester's Sports Information Department, capping it off with an internship his senior year. In his time, he helped plan and operate the Division III Midwest Wrestling Regionals and Division III NCAA Final Four. In his four years, Rush also experienced being the College of Business Club Vice President, Office of Admissions Intern, Men's Basketball Intern, Orientation Assistant Intern, and a member in their alumni club.
In addition to his sports information work, Rush will be assisting the baseball program as a volunteer coach in the upcoming 2022 season. He played baseball for MU all four years and was voted team captain his senior year. Rush, a first basemen for the Spartans, was named to the All-HCAC Second Team his junior season. He finished the season with a .329 batting average, finished second in the conference in RBI's with 44, and posted a .517 slugging percentage.
